Shipping & Returns

14-Day-Return-Policy Yes, you may return most new, unopened items within 14 days of delivery for a full refund in the original form of payment. Sales items are excluded and cannot be returned for a refund. 

  • Please ensure that all items are in their original packaging with all tags intact.

  • Items must be in resalable condition; unworn, unwashed and without stains.

  • Please include a copy of your receipt.

  • Note that we cannot refund shipping costs.

You should expect to receive your refund within three weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you will receive a refund more quickly. This time period includes the transit time for us to receive your package from the shipper (2 to 9 business days), the time it takes us to process your return once we receive it (3 business days), and the time it takes your bank to process our refund request (5 to 10 business days).

Please note that custom orders are final sales and cannot be returned.

How To Make a Return

If you need to return an item, simply log in to your account or create a new account if you have checked out as a guest (your order information will be linked to your new account). View your order using the "Completed Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. Once you have notified us about your return wish you are allowed to return the item(s). Collect the item(s) you wish to return and place them in the original shipping box if you still have it, or an appropriately sized box. Please note that all items returned must be in immaculate resalable condition, in the original product packaging with all tags intact - otherwise a credit cannot be issued. Washed, worn, stained or items determined to have been used by the consumer cannot be accepted. Please make a copy of your invoice and add it to your shipping box. You are responsible for return shipping charges. When shipping, be sure to get a tracking number so that you can confirm delivery of the package. Please note: We cannot accept any packages sent COD. Be sure to pay for your return shipment at the time you send it. Returns are being processed within 3 business days after receiving the returned items. You will receive an email once your return has been processed. Refunds to your credit card can take an additional 3 - 5 business days to be reflected on your account, depending on your bank.

Please note that the original shipping charges will not be refunded in case of a return. 

How to exchange an item

The fastest and easiest way is to order the new item on our website and then return the item you don’t want any more (see “How to make a return”). You will find complete instructions on how to return the item(s). We will notify you via e-mail once the new item is shipped to you. Please note that new shipping costs are due if exchanging an item.

Received a wrong product

If the return is a result of our error (you received an incorrect or defective item, etc.) we will pay the return shipping costs. Please contact us to arrange for an exchange. Any shipping errors have to be reported to us within 5 days of receipt.

Shipping within Canada

Most orders $150* or over qualify for free shipping (*before tax, after discounts and promotions, oversized items excluded). Once we have received your order, your shipment will be sent out as soon as possible, usually between 1-2 business days. Orders ship Monday to Friday with Canada Post, please note that we do not ship on weekends or holidays. Our flat rate fee for Expedited Shipping is $ 9.50 on orders up to $150 before tax.

Please note that all shipping times are estimates and we cannot take responsibility if a shipment takes longer due to delays with Canada Post.

Remote Delivery Area Surcharge

Certain rural areas occur higher shipping fees. Free shipping does not apply in these cases. If your address falls into this category, we will contact you with a shipping quote before proceeding with your order.

Shipping of Furniture

Oversized items and furniture are excluded from our regular shipping policy.
If an item is marked as catalogue only, please get in touch with us and we’ll be happy to give you a shipping quote.

Free Local Pick Up

We now offer free local pick up from our sister company Ava’s Appletree Natural Parenting in the Toronto Beaches neighbourhood. If you place an order and choose local pick up at checkout, you won't be charged any shipping fees. You will be notified once your order is ready for pick up, generally within 24 hours (weekends excluded). 

Incorrect Address

Please always check if you entered the correct address. Once a parcel has been shipped we cannot alter the shipping address. Customers carry the return shipping fees if a parcel is undeliverable due to an incorrect address and the error didn't occur on our side.

Shipping Internationally 

Unfortunately we do not offer shipping to locations outside of Canada at this point.

We do our best to ensure our website has the most up-to-date and accurate information. Unfortunately, we are human and make mistakes! In the event that an error does occur, we reserve the right to correct or cancel an order at any time, and/or correct the error on our web site.
